About Miniature Poodles

Miniature poodles are intelligent, athletic dogs who love companionship and are easy to get along with. Although they are occasionally characterized as a finicky breed, miniature poodles are actually wonderful family dogs thanks to their smarts, their eager-to-please attitude, and their gentle demeanor with kids and other pets. They're an easy breed to train so they fit in well with most homes and families.  They do require regular grooming. If you have the time and resources to dedicate to these peaceful pups, they make loving and loyal companions.

Miniature poodles are smart, active, and playful. They love to romp and play nearly non-stop as puppies and young dogs. Their activity levels do change with maturity, but you can expect your miniature poodle to stay pretty active even as an adult dog. People-pleasing poodles are easy to train and love delighting their human companions. When they meet someone new, their reactions can range from friendly and polite to shy and timid. Their sensitive nature sometimes results in hypersensitivity and anxiety; help your mini out by socializing them early and providing them a stable, conflict-free living arrangement. “The good news is that most miniature poodles naturally have a great temperament.

About Toy Poodles

Toy poodles are charismatic family pets that love to be the center of attention. They are highly intelligent and take well to obedience training, but can suffer from separation anxiety due to their companionable nature. They do well around children and other pets and are well-suited to life in smaller spaces thanks to their petite size. While larger standard poodles need plenty of room and exercise to thrive, smaller toy poodles do not. However, they are still an active breed and love going for daily walks with their loved ones. They also love swimming, retrieving, and performing tricks to burn off energy.Toy poodles are an intelligent breed and absolutely love to please their owner, making it a great choice for single owners and families alike.

About Moyen Poodles

The Moyens go by a few names internationally. They’re sometimes called a Klein Poodle, or Moyen Poodles in Europe. In Europe their kennel club recognizes the 4 sizes as a class. In Canada they are simply referred to as small standard Poodles.  The CKC only recognizes the three classes (Toy, Miniature & standard) for size so your Moyen poodle will be registered as a standard poodle on your CKC papers.
Moyen poodles tend to be fantastic family dogs, as they are gentle around children but full of enough energy to keep up with them. They enjoy large amounts of outdoor activity and water play, and make fantastic travel companions.
They make perfect candidates for service dogs, as they are more than capable and often willing to follow commands and training to assist in daily function. Because of their intelligence, though, Moyens can be a handful.  They’re prone to becoming sensitive and nervous if not well socialized early on. If you are looking for the perfect dog to be an active part of your family, then you will absolutely love the moyen poodle.
